Date for GHALCA Top 4 Released

The date for the GHALCA top 4 has been released
The GHALCA Top 4 will start on 14/08/22 and ends on 31/08/22, barring any last minute hitch.

John Ansah,GHALCA Vice Chairman,said there have been calls for a Top 6 to include Hearts of Oak.
“For now, it is GHALCA Top 4 nothing has changed”,

Ansah also said talks are ongoing to get sponsors for the tournament “and it looks positive,so far”.According to him,latest by the end of July,the he full details and format of the Top 4 will be made public

He said news from certain quarters that wants Hearts of Oak to participate in the Top 4 before they sponsor is false.He announced on Sompa fm.
The 2021-22 Ghana premier league champions, Asante Kotoko appear not to be happy about the new arrangement by The Ghana League Clubs Association.

Kotoko has indicated that the timing of the competition is likely to clash with a scheduled journey for their pre-season outside the country.
Currently the top 4 participants are Asante Kotoko, Medeama, Bechem United and Karela.
