Cristiano Ronaldo signs for Al Nassr on two year deal

Portugal skipper Cristiano Ronaldo has signed for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr after his contract termination with Manchester United.

The former Madrid man looks to the Saudi side as the final stretch of his career beckons yet huge wages await the five time Balon dor winner.

According to Ronaldo’s camp, the player has completed his medical with the club with another set of tests likely to take place next week.

Cristiano will be on 75 million Euros per annum and according to CBS sports, in addition to a salary worth well in excess of $1million a week, Ronaldo’s earnings could more than double through the sale of his image rights.

He is also expected to have a role in the Saudi bid for the 2030 World Cup.

Ronaldo’s probable last World Cup tournament did not go as planned after suffering a defeat to Morocco in the quarter final and losing his place in the starting XI for Portugal.

A new chapter awaits the 2016 European Cup winner as he always proves his quality in the major leagues of World football.
