Coach Ben Hayford explains how he resurrected Sampson Eduku

Sekondi Hasaacas head coach Ben Hayford has revealed how he resurrected the goal scoring instinct in Sampson Eduku known as the Nzema Ronaldo.

Sampson Eduku who was once upon a time, a torn in the flesh of defenders, saw his career dwindling after he moved from Karela United to Elmina Sharks.

The reining goal king, had a turbulent season during his time at Elmina Sharks due to injury which prevented him from featuring for Elmina Sharks till the end of his contract.

Sampson Eduku since signing for the giants of the west, has not been consistent with his goal scoring but coach Ben Hayford came to his rescue and advised him on how he can get back on track which resulted in him scoring his first hat-trick of the season with his head against Swedru All Blacks.

“I told him if he is prepared to listen to instructions and behave well he will be a very good footballer and reach places with his footballing career.” caoch Ben Hayford in an interview with Nana Kwesi of Westgold Radio

Sampson Euku was one of the few players whom coach Ben Hayford benched during his first two games.
