Club owners have the right to demand percentage from players national assignment – Coach Yusif Bassigi

The technical director and the head coach of the Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies team has said club owners in Ghana has the right to demand some percentage from any of their players who has been called for national team assignment.

He said this on Sekunde Sports with Solomon Amankwa on Sekondi-Takoradi based radio station Kyzz Fm. He said the reason for this is because club owners have spend so much and they will need to recoup some of the money through these means.

“The club owners have rights in demanding of percentage in a player call up to the national team because they spend so much and not get anything from it.”
