CIVIL WAR HITS PART OF CAMEROON AS MASCOT FOR AFCON ESCORTED BY MILITARY PERSONNEL.

Civil war in the Anglophone region of Cameroon might be cause for concern as Afcon mascot was heavily guarded by security forces in the region.

Despite the news of wide spread of COVID in the country the Cameroonian government and Cameroonian football federation, headed by Samuel Eto’o debunked the rumours put in the media by European Clubs Association (ECA) and are poised to host the rest of Africa in the Continent’s biggest football showpiece .

With the Ambazonia war scare at the Southern part and north west region, the government of Cameroon, Cameroon football federation and CAF are yet to release a statement concerning the safety of travellers around the continent.
