Christian Atsu found dead according to Agent

Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu has passed on according to his agent Murat Uzun Mehmet. The player was stucked under a rubble aftermath of the massive earthquake in Turkey.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed by his agent this morning.

The deceased is an ex-player for Chelsea, FC Porto, Everton, Bournemouth, Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem & Newcastle. The last team he represented until his demise was Turkish club Hatayspor.

At international level he earned more than 30 caps for the Black Stars and was adjudged the best player at the 2015 Afcon.

According to Nana Sechere who also doubles as one of Atsu’s agent the deceased body was recovered this morning.
