Chris Hughton wants Adam Kwarasey to replace Richard Kingston as Black Stars goalkeepers trainer

New Black Stars coach Chris Hughton wants Adam Kwarasey to replace Richard Kingston as goalkeepers trainer.

Ahead of Chris Hughton’s unveiling on Monday 20th March 2023, it has emerged the former Newcastle manager has already called for the sack of goalkeepers trainer Richard Kingston.

His preferred candidate for the role is former national team goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey. This will be a huge blow to Richard Kingston who was looking to work his way up as a goalkeepers trainer upon attaining coaching license D.

Chris Hughton’s preference for Kwarasey is yet to be known. Surprisingly Adam Kwarasey took over from Richard Kingston as goalkeeper for the Black Stars after the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
