Chris Hughton shows commitment to keep the Baba Yara Stadium undefeated streak alive

As the Black Stars get ready for a key match against the Central African Republic (CAR), coach Chris Hughton has stressed his team’s commitment to keep the Baba Yara Stadium undefeated streak alive.

Prior to the 2023 AFCON qualifying encounter on September 7, Hughton stressed the importance of the next game in a press conference on Wednesday. He said, “Everyone understands what this game entails.

The last time Ghana lost at the Baba Yara Stadium was on February 6, 2000, against South Africa as part of the Africa Cup of Nations.

“We will do everything that we can to get the result that we want to get. Preparation has been good. We are missing some players through injuries but it is also an opportunity for others.”
