Chelsea signs a promising youngster from Zimbabwe

Shumaira Mheuka, a promising Zimbabwean teenager, has joined Chelsea from Brighton and Hove Youth.

Before the start of the new season, the young forward will join the Blues’ U15s.

Last season, the 15-year-old, who possesses advanced technical and physical abilities, played for Brighton’s U18s.

Mheuka is an Under-15 for the upcoming season but has already played at the Under-18 level for Brighton.

Mheuka, who was born in the United Kingdom to Zimbabwean parents, has represented England at the U15 level and made his debut in April of this year. He’s appeared in two games and scored two goals.
