Chelsea ready to pay release clause of Benfica’s Enzo Fernandez

Chelsea Fc have reportedly shown their interest in Argentina World Cup break out star Enzo Fernandez with the London based club eyeing a possible deal this January.

Awarded young player of the tournament, Enzo went on to shock the world after a mesmerizing show off in midfield for the Albiceleste and has attracted multiple offers with Chelsea in the forefront of the charge.

According to the Evening Standard in the UK, Chelsea officials have already informed Benfica of their interest in Fernandez during a meeting involving their president Rui Costa and super-agent Jorge Mendes.

However, the blues are yet to reach an agreement with the player himself after the World Cup.

With Jorginho and Kante’s contracts set to expire soon, the Blues eye the young player of this year’s Mondial as the perfect replacement for Graham Potter.

Enzo’s release clause is set at a 105 million Euros with Liverpool, Chelsea and many other clubs eyeing the Benfica young man.
