Casemiro ruled out for United’s Sunday clash against Arsenal

Manchester United midfielder Carlos Henrique Casemiro will miss the Premier League clash between Arsenal and United due to suspension.

After being booked against Manchester City in the derby last week, Casemiro had to be cautious to avoid missing out on the game against League leaders yet failed to do so.

Casemiro continued to hang on a thread all game until a clumsy challenge on Palace winger Wilfred Zaha with ten minutes to the game’s end.

If a player receives 5 yellow cards in their first 19 games, they get suspended for a game and this remains the case for the Brazilian.

However, the suspension may increase to two games in the second half of the season if a player receives five yellows in ten games.

Despite his impeccable form for United since joining, United will be without his services and against Arsenal’s Partey, Ten Hag will need to get his game plan right if he wants to neutralize this Arsenal midfield and attack.

United were held by Palace in a one all draw after a late equalizer by Olise on Wednesday night.

The reds would have climbed onto second place on their Premier League table and now face a greater test in Arsenal without Casemiro on Sunday.
