CAF DEADLINE DAY: GFA Ask For TWO More Weeks To Decide The Fate of The League Season.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) after failing to meet CAF’s deadline date has requested two weeks extension to decide on the fate of the league season.

A deadline date of May 5 was set for all federations with nations such as Kenya, Angola, Guinea, and Burkina Faso all canceling their seasons.

However the Ghana Football Association is yet to come out with a definite decision contrary to rife reports about the football association canceling the season.

Communication Head of the GFA, Henry Asante Twum in an interview with Asempa FM said:

“We have sent CAF situational report which includes enough information about our game. We assured CAF we will give them a firm decision in two weeks.”

He continued: “CAF is always in touch with their member associations.”
