CAF approves two venues for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

Two Ghanaian stadiums have received preliminary permission from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

It has been formally announced that the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and the Cape Coast Sports Stadium would serve as the locations for the games.

The Central African Republic, Mali, Madagascar, the Comoros, and Ghana will be Ghana’s opponents in Group I.

The Black Stars want to make it to the 2026 competition, which will mark their fifth appearance at the world championship and be hosted by the US, Mexico, and Canada.
