BREAKING NEWS – Samuel Eto’o Declare His intention for the FECAFOOT Presidency

Legendary Cameroonian international, Samuel Eto’o Fils has officially declares his candidacy for the post of President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) with a recent Twitt.

The former, Real Madrid, Real Mollorca,fc Barcelona, International Milan, Chelsea and Everton super star showing his admiration and keen interest of being the president of the Cameroonian football association took to social media to declare his candidacy for the most emininent position of the association that his vision to revolutionise Cameroonian football.

“I am honoured and pleased to announce my candidacy for the Presidency of the Cameroon Football Federation,” Eto’o has said.

The 2000&2002 African Cup Of Nations winner, Communicating largely to the mass stated he has taken this step out of love and passion for his dear nation Cameroon that they have been the back bone of every other successes of his interms of football.

“He continued, after a careful consideration, I have decided to take this initiative out of love and passion for our football. To me it would be an honour to be at service of the establishment that has bestowed upon me all the accolades I have received so far”.

Samuel Eto’o, since winning the Africa player of year award in 2003, 2004,2005 and in 2010 became the holder for most appearance by an Africa player in La Liga once his debut game for Barcelona back in 2004 where he scored 130 goals in five seasons.

He announced his retirement from international football in August 2014 having won the Uefa champions league with Barcelona in 2006 and in 2009 and in 2010 with International Milan.

With 118 appearance for the indomitable lions of Cameroon, he retired as the countries all time goal scorer with 56 goals.
