BREAKING NEWS: Former Kotoko Player Has Been Confirmed Dead.

News reaching 433Ghana indicates that former Kotoko and Ghana player, Opoku Afriyie, popularly known as ’Wizard’ has been confirmed dead aged 75.

His death occurred on Sunday, 29 March, 2019 in Kumasi, and we are yet to know what really was the cause of his death.

He was a member of the squad that won the 1978 African Cup of Nations making Ghana the first team to win it thrice.

He also played in the 1980 African Cup of Nations where Ghana failed to defend the title.
