Arsenal Finalizes Riccardo Calafiori Transfer Deal
Arsenal has officially announced the signing of Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori on a long-term contract, marking a significant boost for their squad.
The 22-year-old has been a standout performer in Serie A and showcased his talent on the international stage at Euro 2024.

Despite interest from other Premier League clubs, Juventus, and Real Madrid in recent weeks, Arsenal secured his signature, with the Italian club setting a fee of £42.1 million for the highly-rated centre-back.

Calafiori, who initially started as a left-back at AS Roma before transitioning to a central role with Bologna, is expected to strengthen Arsenal’s defense, particularly in the left-back position—a spot that has been a concern for the team in recent seasons.
