Bofoakwa Tano to play Eleven Wonders in quest for betPawa Premier League spot

The Ghana Football Association has announced Tuesday, May 30 as date for the Division One League Championship playoff. The playoff will take place at the Accra Sports stadium between winners of Zone One A and Zone One B of the ongoing Access Bank Division One League.

Eleven Wonders have secured a place in the Championship playoff to determine which team qualifies to the Premier League from Zone One after beating Wa Suntaa in the penultimate game of the season. Prince Baffoe and Edward Ansah were the goal scorers for Eleven Wonders asthey thrashed Wa Suntaa by 2 goals to nil.

Elsewhere in sunyani, Bofoakwa Tano defeated Berekum Arsenal to continue their impressive run to the betPawa Premier League. Goals from Hamza Gonji and Abuu Enoch secured the vital win for bofoakwa tano who earmarked some sixty points in the zone one B of the Access Bank Division League.

Zone One was split into two zones due to lack of resources in the Zone especially the three Northern Regions and the seeming tension and violence that have characterized the Zone in the last couple of seasons.
