Black Stars Winger Samuel Owusu Explains How He Nearly Rejected Kwesi Appiah’s Call.

Black Stars winger Samuel Owusu has narrated how he nearly refused to pick a call which earned him a place in Ghana’s last Africa Cup Of Nations in Egypt.

“One thing about me, I don’t pick unknown calls,” Owusu stated.

“One day a number started calling. It was a Ghana number. Then something touched me to pick it. I finally did and the person was coach Kwasi Appiah inviting me to the national team. But I nearly rejected the call.”

Samuel Kwame Owusu currently plays for Saudi club Al-Fayha following a move from  FK Cukaricki last season.
