Black Stars squad will be released before the game on Friday – Henry Asante Twum

The director of communications of the Ghana Football Association  Henry Asante Twumon has alleged that the long-awaited Black stars squad will be released before the game against Nigeria on Friday.

The Black Stars are set to battle with the super Eagles on a two-league game the first encounter is said to be played on coming Friday but the squad for the game is not known yet.

According to Henry Asante, on Star FM, there is more work to do in Kumasi to make the battle prosperous than to release the squad for the clash.

” Releasing of the squad is only 2% of your organization and preparations to play a match,” he told Star FM

“When you are playing a major game you need a proper concentration and good welfare of your players before they start the game”

“releasing of the squad is just a click of the button”. he told Star FM.

“We have more time for ourselves and we are not hiding anything from the media, the squad will be defiantly released before Friday.

The Black Stars World cup hopes begin on Friday as they prepare to battle their west African rivals Nigeria on Friday 25th March, at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
