Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor has revealed his delight after striker Raphael Dwamena returned to training following a long absence due to heart problems.
The young striker in October 2019 was ruled out of action indefinitely after suffering an unspecified heart problem in Spain.
However, Dwamena successfully went through a surgery in January this year and has officially returned to training today with Real Zaragoza.
“I have been there before and it is not easy for a young player to go through what @RaphaelDwamena went through, had a chat with him and I’m happy to see him back in training.” CK Akonnor Tweeted.
Dwamena joined Real Zaragoza in 2019 on loan from Levante and will be hoping to compete when football returns in Spain.
