Black Starlets thrash Sefa Bonsu Royal 6-0 in test match

Ghana’s U-17 men’s national side, the Black Starlets beat third-tier side Sefa Bonsu Royal SC 6-0 in a training match at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram.

The Starlets are preparing for the 2022 WAFU Zone B U-17 Cup of Nations and the Total Energies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.



Jerry Afriyie scored a hat-trick for the Starlets, with further goals from Yakubu Adams, Dua Akwesi Bentil and Andrews Appiah giving them a resounding victory.

The side failed to make it through to the last edition of the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations which was ultimately cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
