Bernard Tekpetey wins Bulgarian Cup with FC Ludogorets

Ghanaian striker Bernard Tekpetey has clinched the 2023 Bulgarian Cup with PFC Ludogorets after defeating CSKA 1948 Sofia in the final on Wednesday evening.

PFC Ludogorets lifted the Bulgarian Cup for the third time after recording an emphatic 3-1 win over CSKA 1948 Sofia at the Huvepharma Arena.

PFC Ludogorets opened the scoring in the 8th minute of the first half when Caio Vidal brilliantly gave them the lead before doubling the score on the 42nd minute.

Although Ivajlo Chochev will score in the 59th minute to half the deficit for CSKA Sofia, a goal from Matías Tissera in the 83rd minute sealed the 3-1 win for Ludogorets to be crowned champions.

Tekpetey lasted the entire duration of the game, he has scored ten goals and provided nine assists in 48 appearances for PFC Ludogorets across all competitions this season.
