Berekum Chelsea replace Kotoko in GHALCA Top 6

The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Top 6, a pre-season tournament, will begin on August 17.

Organisers GHALCA has replaced Asante Kotoko with Berekum Chelsea after the Porcupine Warriors, who won the league last season, opted out.

Kotoko will be unavailable for the tournament due to a pre-season tour in Turkey.

Medeama SC, Bechem United, Karela United, Great Olympics, and Hearts of Oak are the remaining teams in the pre-season tournament.

The tournament will be officially launched on August 12, 2022, at the GHALCA Secretariat in Accra.

The new season will begin on September 9.
