Barcelona Can’t Cope With Intensity In The Top Football- Thomas Muller

The German giant, Bayern Munich defeated Barcelona by three goals to nil at the Alliance Arena on Wednesday night to send the Spanish giant into their first spell in the Europa League.

According to the 32-year-old prolific forward, Barcelona has the technical ability but can’t match with the intensity in the top football.

“Muller told DAZN after Wednesday’s game: “I think Barça can’t cope with the intensity.

“Technically, they have it all, they are great players tactically and technically.

“But they can’t cope with the intensity in top football.”

Professional Bayern forward Muller who scored his eighth goal against the Catalan club in seven matches to open the scoring on Wednesday night explained the one-sided nature of the fixture.

The last time Barcelona was expelled from the Champions League this early was 2000-01 when the Europa League was still known as the UEFA Cup.
