Ashanti Gold signs former Berekum Chelsea player

Ghana premier league side Ashanti Gold has completed the signing of former Berekum Chelsea player Nana Poku.

Nana Poku who was the former goal king in the Ghana Premier league during his playing time with Berekum Chelsea signed a 4 month deal with the yellows after his stint with Qatari based team Al-Markhiya.

Nana Poku will be replacing out gone forward Shafiu Mumuni who is currently in Europe to finalize a move to CFR Cluj.

Nana Poku was the 2010/2011 Ghana premier league season top goal scorer, scoring 16 goals during his time with Berekum Chelsea.

Nana Poku has also featured for Ashdod, Misr Makkasa, Ittiahd Shorta.
