Asante Kotoko Yet To Get Notification From GFA On CAF CL Participation

Acting Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko Mr Joseph Yaw Adu has disclosed that his outfit is yet to receive an official letter from the Ghana Football Association on their CAF Champions League participation for next year.

The Ghana Football Association communicated after they declared the 2019-2020 Ghana League Season null and void that last season’s champions, Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold Sporting Club will represent the country on the continental stage.

Asante Kotoko are yet to receive an official letter on their participation and their acting Chief Executive Officer revealed that they only heard on radio that they will be competing in the CAF Champions League.

“We’ve heard on radio that we are representing Ghana in Africa but yet to receive an official letter from the Ghana Football Association,” he told Kumasi-based Sikka 89.5FM.
