Asante Kotoko Will Need More Experience Players to Conquer Africa – Ainooson

Former Asante Kotoko defender, Abeiku Ainooson has opined that Asante Kotoko will need experienced players to blend with the young players before they can win any of the CAF Interclubs Competitions.

Commenting on Habib Mohammed’s opinion that Asante Kotoko can win a trophy on the continent with the current players, Abeiku Ainooson who has travelled to play football in Sudan and Kuwait said in an interview with 433ghana.com that the porcupine warriors will need to work hard and add some experience to their squad before they can achieve that feat.

According to the former defender, the clubs that they (Asante Kotoko) compete with on the continent always buy quality players who have been spread across.

“In life we don’t wish for, we work for so with hard work and some experience players gelling with the young one’s will really be of help. If they go with this young and inexperienced side, they will find it difficult to win.

“The likes of Al Ahly, Zamalek, TP Mazembe all sign quality players from across the continent but our case is not like that, so to compete with them and win, you will need quality players which is not easy” Abeiku Ainooson said in an interview with 433ghana.com
