Asante Kotoko Reports Unauthorized Ticket Sales, Seeks Police Investigation

Asante Kotoko officially complain about an authorized ticketing

The management of Asante Kotoko has officially blown a whistle to the Ghana Police Service to undertake an investigation concerning the selling of an authorized ticket last Sunday, December 24, 2023, on match day 16 against Real Tamale United at Kumasi Baba Yara stadium.

“We want to assure the stakeholders involved that the culprit will face the full rigors of law, it said.”

It was witnessed by a leader of Kotoko that a female National Sports Authority Staff has been seriously selling unapproved tickets to the supporters.

The lady whose identity is currently undisclosed was arrested and taken by Asokwa Divisional Police of the Ghana Police Service and later arrested two different suspects were.

This was confirmed by the Ghana Police Service after the game at Kumasi on Sunday.

Currently, Kotoko is unbeaten in their last six (6) premier league games, winning five(5) and a draw placing them in the 6th position with 26 points after week 16.

Kotoko will play their final first round of the GPL match on Friday, December 29 against Bofoakwa Tano at Sunyani Coronation Park.
