Asante Kotoko Kick Out Hearts Of Oak From Top 4 Race After Win Over Dwarfs.

Accra Hearts Of Oak is currently out of the top four race after sworn rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated Ebusua Dwarfs in today’s Ghana Premier League outstanding fixture.

Both teams failed to score in the first half despite the numerous chances created by both parties.

Asante Kotoko proved solid in the second half with right back Christopher Nettey latching on to Patrick Asmah’s cross to power a low header into the net from close range in the 71st minute.

Kotoko continued to press but failed to score more as the game ended one-nil in favor of the porcupines.

Kotoko is now 3rd on the league table forcing Hearts Of Oak to drop on 5th with their previous position (4th) currently occupied by Bechem United.

Asante Kotoko will face Aduana Stars next at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday which will be shown live on Star-Times.
