Asante Kotoko breaks camp for two weeks due to corona virus outbreak

Ghana premier league side Kumasi Asante Kotoko has given the playing body a two weeks break following government’s suspension of the 2019/2020 Ghana premier league.

The public relations officer Kennedy Boakye said the decision was taken after meeting between the management and technical team on Monday.

The decision was taken after the president issued out a statement on public events such as football leagues being suspended as precautionary measures against the covid – 19 (corona virus).

The decision led to the cancellation of their match day 15 2019/2020 Ghana premier league game with Inter Allies that was supposed to be played on Monday 16th March 2020.

The captain, Felix Annan has arrived in Kumasi with his colleagues and will wait for 14 days before they resume training according to Kotoko Express.
