As it stands we are going for Otto Addo- Henry Asante Twum

Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has revealed there have been talks with Otto Addo to take over the Black Stars coaching job despite reporting linking Chris Hughton to the vacant role.

The former Brighton boss was sported in Ghana in recent weeks which it was alleged he was close to taking the Black star’s vacant job after the sacking of Milovan Rajevac.

The communication director has disclosed that there have not been talks with Chris Hughton as claimed by different media houses.

“I have not heard the Sports Minister anywhere says he want Chris Houghton so as it stands we are going with Otto Addo. We are yet to have a meeting with the Sports Ministry on our choice of coach,” he said on Starr FM.

The FA are in a hunt for a replacement before Ghana’s FIFA World Cup play-offs against Nigeria in March.
