Arsenal agree deal with Brighton for Leandro Trossard

Arsenal and Brighton have agreed a 27 million Euros deal for Leandro Trossard on a long term according to Sky Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Despite missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea, Arsenal have signed a very convincing forward in Trossard to aid their quest in attaining the Premier League since 2004.

Trossard has been impressive this season with 7 goals and 3 assists in 16 premier appearances and will be a major boost to Mikel Arteta’s attacking options.

New Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi had a fall out with Trossard with regards to the Belgium international’s attitude and left Trossard out of the squad that took on Liverpool last weekend.

Trossard’s agent released a statement on social media saying a sale will be best for both parties after the fall out and he feels his player has been humiliated by Zerbi.

For Trossard, this move becomes the next big step in his career as Arsenal look to end a 19 year Premier League trophy drought.
