Tottenham Hotspur new head coach, Antonio Conte has promised the fans of attractive football in his return to the Premier league as Tottenham boss in his first interview.
Tottenham announced the appointment of former Inter Millan and Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte as their new manager after the sacking of Nunno Espirito Santo.
In Antonio Conte’s first interview as Tottenham head coach, he said “To be Tottenham manager is a great pleasure and honor’ Conte told the clubs official website”
“My coaching philosophy is very simple, to play good football and attractive football for our fans. With patience and to be a stable not up and down.
“I think the fans deserve to have a team that are competitive with a will to fight. I will do everything to deserve their support”.
Antonio Conte has won the Premier League with Chelsea football club in the 2017 Premier league season and has also won the Italia serial A with Inter Millan and Juventus.
When asked of his past glories he said “My past and what I did with the previous teams and clubs, the past is very important and I’m proud.
“But for now, the new challenge is Tottenham, I want them to be part of my football career as a football manager” he said.
Tottenham Hotspur are now 9th on the Premier league table after playing 9 games. Antonio Conte will be looking forward to transform Tottenham as he did to Chelsea in 2017.
Antonio Conte has started training with the Tottenham squad ahead of their Europa Conference league on Thursday.
