Ampem Darkoa Ladies defeats Hasaacas Ladies to win 3rd Women Premier league title

Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been crowned champions of the 2021/2022 Ghana women premier league season after defeating giant, Hasaacas Ladies.

The Northern zone champions pulled a masterclass performance at the Accra sports stadium earlier this afternoon, holding the former champions to a 1:1 draw after regulations.
Success Ameyaa had shot the Hasmal ladies ahead from the spotkick in the 19th minute to set the entire stadium ablaze.
The Nanamma quickly responded from another spotkick courtesy Comfort Yeboah to calm nerves at the Accra sports stadium.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies won by 5:4 to grab their 3rd league title, having won it in the 2015/2016 and the 2016/2017 season.
The new champions will be making their debut in the WAFU Zone B championship with the hope of qualifying for the ultimate CAF Women Champions League later this year.
