Algeria vs Equatorial Guinea: Fennec Foxes seek first win to bolster title defense ambition

After being held to a goalless draw on Tuesday evening, defending champions, Algeria will be hoping to secure their first win at the 2021 African Cup of Nations.

The Fennec Foxes could not get one past a spirited Sierra Leone side as they launched their title defence.

There will be no other goal for them therefore than to win all three points in their second game of the tournament.

Equatorial Guinea who lost in their first game to Ivory Coast will also need to avoid another defeat to keep their hopes high of qualifying to the next phase of the competition.
