AFCON 2021: Joseph Paintsil reacts to debut AFCON appearance

 

Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil has reacted to his debut appearance for the Black Stars at the 2021 AFCON currently ongoing in Cameroon.

The winger was handed a start in Ghana’s 1-0 defeat to Morocco in their opening Group clash on Monday.

Speaking to Footballmadeinghana.com after making his debut, The Genk attacker expressed couldn’t hide his excitement with the appearance.

“I felt really good playing my first Afcon because it’s every african player’s dream to play at the Afcon.

The former Tema Youth attacker also spoke on Ghana’s defeat against Morocco.

“We’re very disappointed with the result which came about as a result of some tactical mistakes and it’s something which usually happens in football.

“We have put the Morocco game behind us and try to focus on our next game which is against Gabon.” He added.
