Aduana Stars silence Accra Hearts of Oak

Aduana Stars secured an all important win over Hearts of Oak consolidating their position on the summit of the 2022/2023 Betpawa premier league.

Isaac Mintah strucked twice in sending supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak in a state of shock. The young striker got the opener two minutes after recess.

He pounced again in the 64th minute, after receiving the ball close to the penalty area of the Phobians Isaac Mintah dribbled pass Konadu Yiadom with ease before slotting the ball home.

Coach Slavko Matic introduced Benjamin Yorke and Victor Aidoo in the second half but Stephen Anokye Badu and experienced shot stopper Joseph Addo ensured Aduana ended the game with clean sheet.

The win takes Aduana Stars seven points clear at the top of the league table, establishing themselves as strong title contenders.
