Aduana edge past Great Olympics to return top of the League

League leaders Aduana Fc returned top of the League after an own goal from Great Olympics man Raymond Oko Grippman in a 1-0 win away from home.

Olympics started well, they managed to keep control of possession and find spaces to counter upon yet Aduana managed to hold their ground in the first half hour of the game.

In the 42nd minute however, Raymond Oko Grippman tried to clear his lines yet the ball managed to fall into his own net from the Aduana set piece going into the break.

The second half saw Olympics try to restore parity as a point or victory could see them reach the top two positions on the table yet that was not to be as Samuel Fabin’s men stood their ground and saw the game finish at 0-1.

The victory means that Aduana sit top of the table once again with 19 points heading into matchday 10 with goalkeeper Joseph Addo awarded man of the match for a stunning performance.
