Access Bank To Become Headline Sponsor Of Division One League-GFA President

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that they have managed to secured sponsorship of $250,000 from Access Bank on behalf of the second-tier league.

This is an excellent piece of news for the lower league, as they were previously without a sponsors.

GFA president Kurt Okraku spoke at the event, declaring that the sponsorship deal will assist in the continued development of the second-tier league.

He added, “Melcom will provide 5000 Ghana cedis vouchers for all Division One League clubs for the next two years.”

“This sponsorship comes as a relief to the GFA and the Division One clubs. It will also go a long way to develop the Division One League,” said the president.

The bank is one of the best financial institution in the country to get involved in local football sponsorship, as Betpawa currently supports the Premier League financially.
