Abdul Azusa Yakubu on target for Wuhan Three Town against Urawa Red Diamonds

Abdul Aziz Yakubu of Ghana was instrumental in Wuhan Three Towns’ 2-2 draw with Urawa Red Diamonds on Wednesday in the opening round of the AFC Champions League.

At the Wuhan Sports Centre Stadium, Abdul Aziz Yakubu started the game and played the entire 90 minutes against the Japanese team.

This was the first meeting between the two teams, and throughout the game the away team controlled possession and had several shots.

Zhang Xiaobin’s goal was assisted by Abdul Aziz Yakubu and his side took the lead in that game.

The game became more competitive after that goal but the opponents came back into the game after equalizing at the 55th minutes .

The match ended 2-2 after a late goal by the visitors canceled out Wuhan Three Town lead.
