Stephen Appiah Leaves out Asamoah Gyan In His Top 5 Black Stars Team

Former Black Stars skipper Stephen Appiah has named his best top 5 players Of the Black Stars from 1992 to this current year 2021 and to the surprise of many, he omitted Ghana’s all time leading scorer Asamoah Gyan from his pick.

Appiah spent 7 years playing for the Black Stars which includes appearing in numerous tournament and sharing playing with many footballers during his time.

The former Black Stars captain named Tony Yeboah as the lead striker in the team with Michael Essien and Richard Kingson who both played in 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Completing the picks is three times African footballer of the year, Abedi Pele.
