GOOD NEWS: ASANTE KOTOKO TO RETURN TO THEIR FAVOURITE PLAYING GROUND BY JULY.

Ghana premier league side Kumasi Asante kotoko is set to return back to his favorite playing group, baba Yara sports staduim before the end of July 2021.

Asante kotoko in the start of the league move to the Accra sports stadium to played their home matches due to the renovation work in the baba Yara sports stadium.

The sports minister Hon Mustapha Ussif in an interview with Accra base citi sports online confirm the readiness of the stadium

According to him, renovation work is still ongoing but is likely by July ending the work would be completed.

Work is still ongoing at the baba Yara sports stadium,the facility was closed down for renovation to happen and I believe by the end of July the place will be ready for kotoko and king Faisal.

He added that he has started engagement with the key stakeholders of the game about the readiness of the stadium

I can assure you that, I have started engagement with the key stakeholders of the game that is the GFA, GHALCA and the NSA to have understanding of what is actually going on.

“I will soon start a tour to see for myself what things look like, so the July timeline set for completion will be achieved.
