Asante Kotoko announce squad for GPL second round

Asante Kotoko have named a 29-man squad for the second round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League. 

The Porcupine Warriors have included Brazilian forward Michael Vinicius de Morais and new signings Andy Kusi and Solomon Sarfo Taylor to the team ahead of the resumption of the league.

Brazilian attacker Michael Vinicius joins the Reds after spells in his native with Fluminese and in Sweden with Likongpin and Vasuland.

Forward Andy Kumi is joining from lower tier side Unistar on a long term contract with Solomon Sarfo joining the Reds on a two-and-a-half year deal after returning from Denmark.

Asante Kotoko have targeted the league title after bowing out of Africa following defeat to Algerian outfit ES Setif.

The record Ghana Premier League champions are fourth on the table with a game in hand after the first round.
