Kotoko chief Nana Yaw Amponsah confident of league title triumph

Asante Kotoko chief executive believes they can “definitely” emerge as champions of the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season.

Kotoko’s form this season has been inconsistent but find themselves in a good position to win the title for the 25th time.

Fourth-placed Kotoko are four points adrift of the top although they have played a game less. Should they win their outstanding game against Bechem United, the Porcupine Warriors will climb up to second.

“[Yes], definitely we can win the league. As far as I am concern and from where I sit, I see us doing that.

“Look at the challenges we’ve gone through, playing away from home from the entire first round and going forward it is going to continue for a while,” Nana Yaw Amponsah said.

It is Amponsah’s first season in charge of Kotoko following his appointment in August last year.
