Asante Kotoko Imoro Ibrahim names Bayern Munich top defender as a mentor

High-flying Asante Kotoko right-back, Imoro Ibrahim, has disclosed that Bayern Munich’s defender David Alaba is his mentor.

According to Imoro Ibrahim, he always watch the videos of David Alaba to learn from him and that is why he is putting up a good spectacle of his game.

Imoro speaking at the post match presser with the press after 1-0 triumph over King Faisal, he expressed who his role model is and how he has been very consistent with his performance.

“David Alaba is the player I look up to due to his defensive prowess and how he is able to join the attack to score goals. I learn a lot from him.”

He reckoned that his stunning performance is as a result of hard work.

“I give thanks to hard work for my performance because without hard work I can’t go forward.

Highfaluting Ibrahim Imoro capped off his impressive display for Asante Kotoko against King Faisal with a Man of The Match Award on Wednesday afternoon.

The left-back was outstanding for his side on the night helping them to victory over their opponents.
