Derrick Luckassen set to leave Anderlecht at the end of season

Dutch-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Derrick Luckassen is reportedly set to cut short his loan spell with RSC Anderlecht as a result of lack of playing time at the club

The 25-year old joined the Belgian giants on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window from PSV after excelling in the Jupiler Pro League last season.

While he hoped to continue his fine form this season to ensure he earns a permanent move next summer, the story has been different thus far.

Although Anderlecht has played 18 matches in the ongoing 2020/2021 Jupiler League this season, Derrick Luckassen has only featured in eight matches.

Not the preferred man in his role anymore, reports in the Belgium tabloids has it that it is likely the defender will leave Anderlecht in the January window.

It is understood that he will return to PSV where is it most likely he will be loaned out to a different club where he will be guaranteed regular playing time.
