Ismaily have named Talaat Youssef as the club’s new head coach following the departure of Heron Ricardo Ferreira.
The Brazilian head coach was sacked just three league games into the 2020/21 season following a poor start to the new campaign.
Ismaily opened their season with a dull 0-0 draw in the Canal Derby against Al Masry, before falling to a 3-3 draw in the dying moments with Entag El-Harby.
And on Monday, Ferreira took charge of his last game with the Yellows as the club failed to protect a one-goal lead against El-Gouna, losing 2-1.
Ferreira was sacked hours after the games, and less than a day later he was succeeded by veteran head coach Talaat Youssef.
65-year-old Youssef has huge huge experience in Egyptian football, taking charge of many clubs, most notably Ittihad of Alexandria, El-Gaish, Al Masry, Smouha, Petrojet, and Misr El-Makkasa.
He also had stints at Koroum, Baladiyat El-Mahalla, Ittihad El-Shorta, Telefonat Beni Suef, and Libyan giants Al Ahly Tripoli.
His last coaching job came with Ittihad of Alexandria, before leaving them last October, guiding the club to a 10th place finish.
Youssef will now take charge of Ismaily and his game with his new club will be against Bank Al Ahly next Friday, December 25.
Ismaily currently sit 12th with two points from three games, while newly promoted side Bank Al Ahly are seventh with four points.
