Ashanti Gold SC Assistant Coach Thomas Duah Insists The Club Will Beat Salitas Fc To Qualify.

The assistant coach of AshantiGold Sporting Club and formal Ghanaian International, Thomas Duah has disclosed to Ashh Fm that, AshGold will beat Salista Fc at Burkina Faso  to qualify for the next stage of the confederation cup.

In an interview with Ike Owusu Ansah on Ashh Super Sports show on Ashh Fm Kumasi, Thomas Duah made the following statement;

“I was disappointed in the first leg game at Obuasi because we didn’t score a goal. We have now seen salitas, their style of play and we are confident we will get qualification there at Burkina Faso. It won’t be easy travelling 14 hours to Burkina but I don’t think it will affect us too much to lose this match”.

“Fc Salitas came with a plan to get a draw and they succeed, what we heard about them was, they hold the ball best but we realised we hold the ball better than them and am assuring everyone 100% that we will qualify”, he added.

The first leg at Obuasi ended in a stalemate with Salitas Fc having an advantage at home this Sunday. A win for them at home will give them an automatic qualification to the next stage of the Caf Confederation Cup prelims.
