3 Players Of Tudu Mighty Jets FC Among 1st 70 Players Invited To National U-20 Camp

Three players of Tudu Mighty Jets Football Club are among the first batch of 70 players invited to camp for assessment by the handlers of the national U-20 football team.

They are Taufiq Shaibu, Joseph Addo Tetteh and Umar Mohammed.

Taufiq and Addo were both members of the Ghana U-17 team which lost to Nigeria in the final of the 2018 WAFU B Cup which was hosted in Niger by CAF.

Taufiq played in all the matches leading to the final and even scored in the final match whereas Addo even though started the first game of the said tournament, did not get to play in the subsequent matches.

The third player Umar could not make the cut the last time around even though he was invited for observation before the shortlist was made.
He is hoping to be second time lucky and has therefore promised to give off his very best.

All three players are currently in camp with the rest of the called up players for a thorough assessment pending the selection of the final squad for the 2020 version of the WAFU B Cup tournament which is to be hosted later this year in Togo.
