Declare Aduana Stars Champions If Season is Cancelled – Yahaya Mohammed

Aduana Stars forward, Yahaya Mohammed has suggested that if the current Ghana Premier League season is cancelled, the trophy must be handed to Aduana Stars.

All football competitions in Ghana has been suspended close to three months due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and the decision of government to place ban on social gatherings.

Yahaya Mohammed who was one of the top performing players in the league before it was suspended suggested that the season should be continued but in an event where the opposite is done, Aduana Stars who are league leaders should be crowned champions.

“I would suggest that the GFA takes the decision to continue the league. However, if the GFA decide to cancel the league, the trophy must be given to Aduana Stars since we are on top of the league log” he said in an interview with Angel FM in Accra.
